14th European Vertebrate Management Conference
The 14th EVMC was held in May 2025 in Ankaran, where the Molecular Ecology team at UP collaborated as the local organizing committee. More than 250 researchers from across the globe gathered at this 5-day conference featuring guest speakers, plenary sessions, posters, and demonstrations.

LILY COST Workshop on Nature-based Solutions
A workshop on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) held as part of the European COST action LILY — Large-scale Interdisciplinary Alliance on Nature-based Solutions and Health. The action focuses on NbS implementation for improving systems and frameworks to mitigate the effects of climate change. The Molecular Ecology team hosted the event and actively participated in workshop activities.

PRO-COAST Third Consortium Meeting
PRO-COAST (A PROactive approach for COmmunities to enAble Societal Transformation) seeks to help local communities preserve and restore ecosystem services throughout Europe. The third consortium meeting was held in Koper where the Molecular Ecology team co-organised and hosted the event, bringing together interdisciplinary researchers from 20 organisations across 14 countries.
